On June 23 at 1 p.m. ET, the Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) will host a virtual discussion about how reducing or eliminating cost-sharing for primary care can help improve the nation’s health and enhance the affordability of the health system – specifically by reducing patients’ financial barriers to care and removing red tape burdening practices.
Among the panelists is ACOFP member Linda Delo, DO, who serves on the ACOFP Legislation and Advocacy Committee.
ACOFP members are encouraged to register for the event, which will explore how unnecessary cost-sharing creates friction for patients and adds unnecessary paperwork for clinicians — and ideas for how to address this issue with policymakers.
