About Amanda’s Role

The Maine Chapter of the ACOFP has been managed by the Maine Osteopathic Association (MOA) since Amanda joined the team in 2016. As executive director, she supports the chapter while also serving as executive director of MOA.

Proud Accomplishment

Amanda reflects on the special relationship between the Maine ACOFP Chapter and MOA, noting how meaningful it has been to host chapter meetings at MOA conferences. Bringing ACOFP leadership to Maine has created memorable moments and a family-focused environment where members can connect not just professionally, but personally.

One moment that stands out came full circle this year at the ACOFP House of Delegates, when Dr. Koehler shared that attending the Maine Convention years ago inspired him and his wife to buy property on their favorite golf course back home in Oklahoma as they planned for retirement. Stories like this highlight the deep connections and reflections that Amanda is proud the chapter continues to foster.

Outside the Office

Amanda enjoys traveling, has a love for weddings (having worked as a wedding coordinator in the past), and is a dedicated dog mom to her COVID puppy, Dill.

Fun Fact

In July 2025, Amanda was elected President of the Association of Osteopathic State Executive Directors (AOSED). She also recently took on the role of Executive Director for the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP), expanding her leadership in the osteopathic community.
