About Michael Soukar:
Biography & Education
Michael Soukar, DO is a PGY-1 Family Medicine resident at Henry Ford Macomb in Clinton Township, Michigan. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan before attending the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Soukar is passionate about the lifelong learning opportunities that family medicine provides and values the chance to continually expand his knowledge and skills throughout residency. He joined the ACOFP Resident Council to develop his physician leadership abilities while supporting fellow residents, advocating for patients, and advancing the osteopathic profession. Outside of medicine, he enjoys working out, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He is also an accomplished fencer, having earned state and national championship titles.
