About Lynn Wilson:
Biography & Education
Lynn M. Wilson, DO, FACOFP, joined the ACOFP Foundation Board in 2025. She is a board-certified family physician and geriatrician with additional certification in lifestyle medicine. She graduated in 2010 from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She currently serves as Section Chief of Geriatrics and Program Director of the Geriatrics Fellowship at Jefferson Health - Lehigh Valley in Allentown, PA, where she also holds academic appointments at multiple medical schools.
Dr. Wilson is a national leader in geriatric and family medicine education, with extensive involvement in organizations such as the ACOFP, AAFP, and AGS. Her academic work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications, editorial contributions, and invited presentations focused on aging, dementia care, LGBTQ+ health, and healthy aging strategies. She is a fellow of the American Geriatrics Society, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also currently Secretary/Treasurer of Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society.
She is passionate about advancing interdisciplinary, inclusive, and community-focused approaches to primary and geriatric care, and is actively involved in national and regional leadership, mentorship, and advocacy efforts.
Dr. Wilson has been an active member of ACOFP since medical school, holding a variety of leadership positions, including Secretary of the Executive Council of the Conclave of Fellows and Student Board member of the ACOFP Board of Governors. She is an alumnus of the ACOFP Future Leaders program. She was named Pennsylvania Medical Society 40 Under 40 in 2022.
She is the mother of 3 humans and 2 cats and is married to the world’s best osteopathic ophthalmologist. In her free time, she enjoys running half marathons and completing Peloton and Tonal workouts.
