Biography & Education

Lorraine Lorenz, DO, MS is a PGY-2 Family Medicine resident at Reid Health Family Medicine Residency in Richmond, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness and Health from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Pediatric Nutrition before working as a registered dietitian for six years. She later pursued her medical degree at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Lorenz brings a unique background in nutrition and preventive health to her family medicine training and enjoys the variety of experiences residency provides across inpatient and outpatient settings. She joined the ACOFP Resident Council to connect with fellow osteopathic family medicine residents and contribute to the continued growth and success of the specialty. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her two cats and expressing her creativity through interior design, poetry, and art. She also loves exploring new places, whether it's a local hiking trail or a destination halfway around the world.
