About Brian Norheim:
Biography & Education
Brian Michael Norheim, DO is a PGY-2 Family Medicine resident at the University of Alabama Birmingham St. Vincent's East Family Medicine Residency Program. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medicine and a minor in Psychology from Grand Canyon University before attending the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Pikeville.
Dr. Norheim is passionate about personal and professional growth, balancing the demands of residency with time spent with his wife and newborn son. He joined the ACOFP Resident Council to collaborate with fellow residents, strengthen his leadership skills, and help shape initiatives that support residents throughout their training. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through basketball and strength training, and perfecting homemade espresso and coffee drinks. He also hopes to find more time for reading during residency.
